Life Line Palm Reading Guide
The lifeline is one of the five lines read when it comes to palm reading. It extends around the thumb, starting between the index finger and the thumb and stopping close to the wrist.
In palm reading, the length of the lifeline has no bearing on how long one lives. Instead it reflects one’s health and vitality.
Like reading the other lines in the palm, the lifeline of the dominant hand, generally the right, is a priority in palmistry.
A long and clear lifeline that has a big arc shows a fullness of vitality, enthusiasm, good health, and good resistance to illness.
What is a big arc? Imagine a line straight down the center of the middle finger and going down to the wrist. If the arc reaches or crosses the middle finger, it is a sign of great vitality and boundless energy.
The area between the thumb and the lifeline is said to be the vitality of the body. The bigger the area, the better the health will be. If the lifeline is comparatively straight and close to the thumb, this means the person is cautious when dealing with relationships and tires easily.
A short lifeline does not mean an early death. Instead, it reflects the possibility of sickness. People that have a short lifeline are practical, down-to-earth, and easily influenced.
Broken Life Line in the Palm
A broken line is not a good sign with regard to health as the breaks predict illness or accidents. The length of the broken part generally indicates the duration and severity of the accident or illness.
The first section, which starts between the index finger and thumb, is for an early age. The second refers to middle age. The third, which is closest to the wrist, represents old age. The location of the break in the lifeline shows when an accident or illness will occur.
